Nice little corner in Munich serving up Thai meals. Easy to find, just exit the Münchener Freiheit station and if u see a nice big crowd outside a corner restaurant to the right, then u are at the right place. No big signboard nor neon signs but you won't miss it. Tables and benches set up outside for summer, and more tables and chairs set up inside the restaurant. Went there at lunch time, but busy… Stuffs were nice, food was a very big portion, rice was delicious, but might ordered the wrong meal — spicy beef was really hot/chilli/spicy! Didn’t taste anything apart from the burning feelings in my mouth. I normally like chilly food but definitely not this one. Glad I ordered cold drink! A bit disappointed…
MUNMUN is the best Thai restaurant in Munich! By far! I've been going Thai food for years. You always get freshly prepared food, which is made with a lot of love! The service is also super friendly and there are no long waiting times even if the shop is full!!! I can only put it to everyone and you won't be disappointed!
The food was exceptional, so much so that I couldn't resist returning the following day. The flavors were incredibly delicious and everything tasted remarkably fresh. The sight of a long queue on a Friday night affirmed that this place was indeed exceptional. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit.

Super value for money. Super delicious, authentic Thai dishes in large portions. In the summer you can sit super outside. But also inside are beautiful seats (more than you may suspect. Only negative point: I cannot afford to order as often as I would like :

Absolute secret tip for good and cheap Asian food in Munich. So far, I've always got good dishes. The staff is so friendly and easy you want to stay right there, but unfortunately it is not currently possible.
I had a noodle dish with chicken and tofu and my girlfriend had the seafood soup - both were very tasty. Busy, buzzy tables outside in the sun with a couple of beers . Perfect .
