I visited Murf's after a long day and found the prices to be quite reasonable, especially considering it's hard to find a decent meal for under $15. I started with the cheeses, which were good but I preferred them over the kakaofritten. For my main course, I had the mango jalapeño wings, which were tasty but on the smaller side. If you have a big appetite, you might want to order two servings. The Cajun fries were fine, but not outstanding. If I return, I would definitely try the wings again. Overall, I had a good experience at Murf's and would recommend it to anyone looking for a meal after a day of hiking or biking on the nearby trails.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday and ordered some expensive fries and a Dos Equis beer. The fries were hot, just as I like them. I have been here several times before, but this time was disappointing. During a previous visit in the summer, a lovely waitress named Lily made me feel at home, which was the main reason I returned. However, on this visit, the staff seemed rushed and unhelpful. My companion asked for ranch dressing multiple times before finally being told to forget about it. We felt like we were being ignored and disrespected. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
Only place in Scott County with a full bar. Owners and staff are friendly. Food is fair, facility is recently renovated so it is nice, clean and comfortable. Crowd can get rowdy (and maybe a bit vulgar late, so heads up).
The food at this restaurant is top-notch and the staff is fantastic! Sadie Sue adores all the girls working there and would probably prefer to stay with them forever!
