We were seated at 12 noon. They took our drink orders about 10 minutes later took our food order. An hour and a half later, they brought our food out.Our server was a male who took our orders but after asking 3 times, he didn't come back to us but served surrounding tables. A lady then finished out our experience.Now you are probably wondering why wait that long. We were talking and haven't seen each other in a year. Decided to try out a new place for breakfast/brunch. There was like a ten minute wait when we went.Service was slow and the place was too loud. Then again we were seated right by the guy playing the guitar. It took about 10 mins for them to take our order. I ordered the warm corned beef while the boyfriend got the ham omelette. Food was average and unremarkable. I was expecting more since the place was packed when we went.Then it took 15 mins to ask for the check and another 10 minutes for them to process the payment and hand my card back to me. The food is not worth the wait.
I visited My Grandmother's Kitchen for the first time, and the gentleman who welcomed me also served as our waiter. He was attentive and had a great knowledge of the menu, answering all my questions. I ordered whole wheat banana and cinnamon chip pancakes, along with freshly squeezed orange juice. Although the food took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, it was definitely worth the wait. The pancakes were delicious and beautifully presented. I would definitely return.
We found this wonderful place to dine through a Groupon. So glad we did! All staff were very friendly and accommodating. And the food was cooked just as we requested, and it was DELICIOUS!! It is evident that they take a lot of pride in the food and services that they deliver. We will be back!!!

The best place to come to when it comes to break feast or anything special. The food here is the best breakfast food I’ve had thus far and the staff IS the friendliest staff and will do everything in there power to make you feel like you’re home with family!!
