"Before, there was a whole vegan menu. It was replaced by a virtually non-vegan buffet, people working there didn’t even know what dishes were vegan and we are told that beef was vegan!! Very disappointed when before the menu was very good and you could eat a lot."

this Indian restaurant is one of the few places with decent vegan options around sarlat. we went to dinner there and had marked the vegan thali clearly on the menu. other dishes are vegan, but they need to ask the waiter who knows about vegan nutrition. the thali was very generous, with naan and papadam, rice and several sauces, pakodas and samossas, and dessert. Some parts were very good and some parts were somewhat too fat, not very qualitatiw. overall the experience was ok, but not exceptional, I would have expected a more qualitative Indian food. but the place is beautiful, centrally located and affordable. try it when they starve in this area of foie gras maniacs. updated by previous re...

This Indian restaurant is one of the few places with decent vegan options around Sarlat. We went there for dinner and had the vegan thali clearly marked on the menu. Other dishes are vegan but you have to ask the waiter who knows about vegan diet. The thali was very generous, with naan and papadam, rice and several sauces, pakodas and samossas, and dessert. Some parts were very good and some parts were a bit too greasy, not very qualitative. Overall, the experience was ok but not exceptional, I would have expected a more qualitative Indian food. But the place is nice, centrally located and affordable. Try it if you are starving in this area of foie gras maniacs. Updated from previous review...

I ordered 1thali vegan and I had several types of nans’ sauce, ect... Of which 2 white sauces so safe even if I ordered a thali vegan I asked again if there was no milk inside and finally he told me that there was in the nans, in the dessert, that he gave me some eggs (but there was one in the nans, that he gave me the eggs (but there was) In short, I think it is really necessary to ask if there are no animal products in it to be sure despite the fact that it is noted “vegan on the map”... we had the vegan and vegetarian thalis plate. It included 3 small starters, 3 curry's and 1 dessert. It was priced at 17€ which was quite cheap for a 3 course meal. The menu clearly indicated vegan and vegetarian options. The currys were creamy and tasty and included naan bread. Would definetly recommend this restaurant if u are looking for a vegan menu. Staff was also very friendly and helpful Book a table now

Service was very good. Food was okay. Some where very tasty. But some where way too salty to eat. I am sure the chef did not try them before they went out of the kitchen sinds it was really uneditable because of the salt. We had the idee the chef did not really put his love in the food. The rest was okay, but not great.

As many already said, In a vegan desert as all this region is (most of the people seemed has ever heard the word vegan a place that offers you a whole vegan lot in a beautiful settlement feels a near paradise experience and helped me to forget the awful pate de fua market day that was going on
