I've been going to this place for salted duck for several dozen visits, and I have to say that both the prices and quality have been on a downward trend. My wife's aunt discovered this place and introduced it to us, and ever since, I've been buying salted duck at least once a month. I know the prices keep rising, but the lady in charge always insists that the prices haven't changed—does she think I'm clueless? This place is totally a hidden gem! My husband is originally from Nanjing, and he's been craving authentic Nanjing food for a while. This place was our first stop for culinary explorations during our trip from Seattle to LA, and we were so happy that we had come here! We ordered a bunch of different things to go, and everything was just delicious, fresh and authentic Nanjing style. I loved the Nanjing Roasted Duck and Salted Duck, as well as the mini wonton soup! I'd love to come back sometime soon, and would highly recommend this place for people hoping to get a taste of Nanjing.
Loved this place. Takeout only, social distancing observed. The roasted duck tastes so authentic with the sauce, just like what I had growing up. The salted duck is also really tasty and authentic, but for me personally, my favorite way is to make soup/stock using the salted duck pieces with bones, and make bowls of noodles with some veggies. SO GOOD. The owner is friendly and nice. I also tried their duck wings, thumbs up. Will come back.
The place is inside the supermarket. I am originally born and raised in Nanjing, and after reading a lot of great reviews on Red( a Chinese social media app) about this, I was so excited to try. I came on a Monday and unfortunately they are closed. I was able to grab a business card from them, and added them on WeChat. They are open on Wednesday and is available for delivery through Panda delivery. I can't wait to try their roasted duck

1) A frozen package of Shao Mai, which was delicious after we steamed them.
2) A whole Salted Duck for $28, which was incredibly tasty and surprisingly addictive; we couldn't stop after just one piece!
3) A Lotus with sticky rice for $19, which made for a delightful dessert. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture.
Overall, it was a great experience!
Takeout only and situated inside a supermarket, this spot had a few limitations. When I visited on a Saturday around noon, they had run out of roasted duck, which was disappointing. However, the salted duck was authentic and satisfying, and the duck soup was packed with flavor.
I'm not sure why people like this place. Everything was really salty. We ordered the roast duck, but it was mostly fatty meat—too greasy and salty for my taste. I also didn't get the whole half duck that I paid for. The shao mai was disappointing as well.
I ordered the Xiao Long Bao (XLB), Nanjing roasted duck, and their signature glass noodles, and I found everything to be excellent. The flavors were delightful, and I definitely plan to return.

The salted duck here is exceptional, and the thinly sliced cuts are great too! Currently, it's takeout only, but this is definitely the best salted duck in town!
I am from Nanjing originally and this place reminds me of home! Definitely try everything they have to offer on their menu. Soup dumplings are a must!
