I stopped by this restaurant for a drink while walking my dogs because it is very dog-friendly indoors and outdoors. I have also dined here with friends and family on multiple occasions, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I have never had any complaints from anyone, so the food must be good. It may not be the cheapest option, but sometimes cheaper is not always better. The parking is always convenient with a good-sized car park and a partly covered beer garden. I will definitely be returning soon.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was a great find. We sat outside and enjoyed a couple of shandies before deciding to eat here. I am so glad we did! I had the roast chicken with blue cheese and mushroom sauce, wrapped in ham, served with baby roast potatoes and green beans. My husband had the cheese and onion pie and it was the best meal I have ever eaten. It is a must-try dish. My husband wants to come back just so he can have it again. We will see you soon!
We called passing through one evening as we could see a full car park , which is usually a good sign . Couldnt stop thinking about the food all week, so returned again and again. The manager and the staff are just amazing and have made us feel so welcome that even though we live quite far this is now our weekly favourite place . I really liked this place. The staff were all really nice. The pub is clean, well laid out and nicely decorated. Food was really nice had a steak baguette and a local version of bread pudding. Prices are good considering the quality. I'd very happily go back.

Great food and service from a friendly team. Eight of us went for after work drinks and food. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food which was served promptly by attentive staff. We will definitely return.
A charming country pub.. lovely clean cosy environment with lots of character. A very warm welcome as always. A good menu serving delicious food and plenty of it ! Highly recommended .
You get so much food for your money here. The staff can't do enough for you and we always bring our kids here and feel welcome. The fajita burger is amazing.
