I called at 11:30 which is their opening time and was told soup would be ready in 35 minutes. I drove to the area which took one hour bcz I live that far away and soup was still not ready. I ordered about 2pm, five chicken soups, one small cow foot meal with white rice and extra gravy, one beef patty. The lady at the register needs to pay better attention. She told me salad comes with my meal and I advised her cabbage comes with it but she kept insisting salad. I saw the owner and she confirmed cabbage comes with my meal. 4.0 Nice Mon is some of the most authentic Jamaican food I?ve had from a restaurant as a Jamaican. They are probably still take out only, but as you walk in they have a wall of celebs as well, as any good Jamaican restaurant should, of folks that have stopped in. The good part is that they often have what you need. They are sometimes out of things but that?s been more rare here than common. I would highly recommend their stew peas and oxtail. It was almost as good as mymother?s lol. I found nice man eight years ago. And when I tell you this is some amazing food.Then oh my goodness. Lately , I noticed that the food has been terrible garbage Don't do the beef potty. It was one incident where I went Back to the restaurant And there was a woman returning her soup.That's how bad it is whatever cook You guys had before bring him back. Because this is nonsense.This is one of the words restaurant In atlanta that's still in jamaican food. They changed their stuff and they changed their cooks.And now it's garbage ways the money to eat there.
The oxtails were tender and delicious, and the rice and peas were spot on. You could really taste the smoky flavor of the jerk chicken from the grill, which was great. I personally could use a little more spice, but that's just my preference. The reason I'm not giving this a perfect score is because the cabbage was unusual. It contained celery and squash, but also had some strange Italian-like seasoning that I didn’t enjoy. Next time, I think I'll try the salad or mixed vegetables instead. On a positive note, the lemonade was quite good!

I was taken aback by my experience. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff. My food arrived quickly, and it was absolutely delicious! The rice and peas were full of flavor, the cabbage was perfectly cooked, and the oxtails with butter beans were seasoned to perfection. The gravy was incredible, and that's saying a lot since I'm usually not a fan of gravy. It's not often that you find both excellent service and delicious Jamaican food together.
The food here is ALWAYS good!!! They never disappoint. I would suggest steamed veggies versus a salad. The salad is always mushy by the time I get home to eat. If salad is the preferred choice, it needs to be prepared in a different container. Keep the cold and hot foods separate.
