Visited Nigels in Hannahan n waited over 25 mins for one single order a lady who placed 3 orders about 10 minutes after mine had all 3 of her orders ready before my single order!!!! The macaroni was cold the red rice was hard n so sticky without no meat. Cornbread hard n the chicken was so tiny !!!! Waited around 45 minutes for my order and nothing was really hot. I called and placed my order over the phone and paid by card when I arrived. When looking at my receipt I noticed I was charged extra for using my card. I asked the sever about this because I was not aware and told her I would’ve paid by cash but she just walked away and continued to her next table. Maybe have signs posted in the restaurant or have the severs notify guests before running their card. I visited this location numerous times and that was the first time I was charged extra for using my card.
We read a lot of positive reviews including the chicken wings. We arrived and it is a very cute restaurant. Then it all went downhill. We arrived at 6pm on a Thursday. Surprised that we only ones there. Bad sign. We ordered chicken wings. Nope, no sauce. We ordered chicken and waffles. Nope, no waffles. Food was ok. Won’t go back.
Great spot! Would definitely go again. Tried the pickled okra appetizer and wow, it was fantastic! Chicken wings were delicious. Would definitely recommend.
