Traditional Japanese food and sushi. One of the first and last true Japanese Restaurant in St.Louis. Owners don't speak the greatest english , If your not patient don't come here, its not for you!  Also, If your looking for large portion and cheap prices, this is not the place for you! Quality products from overseas comes with a price, if you can't taste a difference go to a place that makes you happy! We are sorry if you have a bad experience here during our busy days, we are short staffed. Its possible here to have a miscommunication, again not the greatest in speaking english, so instead of posting negative insults because you have nothing better to do, but to make yourself feel good abou...

I've been to Nobu several times and everytime I was left completely satisfied. I'm been to many different sushi restaurants all over STL county area and Nobu's is by far my favorite, the best place to go to get sushi. Everytime I've have sushi here the fish has been fresh, tastes amazing, and absolutely no fishy taste at all (I absolutely cannot stand even a little bit of fishy smell or taste and I've never had a problem here). The rice bowls and ramens are out of this world. The customer service is great as well, the employees are very happy and attentive, the chef is also really nice. Well worth the price and the most authentic Japanese food around.

I liked it but..... The 'hostess ' wasn 't one. Our waitress seated us and was helpful and friendly, but we weren 't sure why there was a hostess at all.<br/ The miso soup was the worst I have had at any Japanese restaurant.<br/ We ordered a bunch of different kinds of sushi and we ordered a seafood pot (kame something).<br/ <br/ The sushi was good (almost great) but the seafood pot consisted of one scallop, 2 shrimp and some salmon. It wasn 't crazy expensive, but for the price, it was a disappointment. It was maybe 3/4 rice and at the most 1/4 seafood.<br/ <br/ Everything was 'good ' but I would go somewhere new before coming back.

Glad to have this gem in St. Louis. Consistent, exceptionally fresh food, pride taken in everything that comes out of the kitchen. Being big sushi lovers, we didn't stop eating it when we had kids and this place is welcoming for families and date night. We recently did omekase and it was delicious and worth every penny. It's definitely for someone who wants a traditional Japanese experience but it has plenty of options for spend who wants popular rolls too. Chef nobu, his staff and his wife are gracious hosts every time. Book a table now

The only real Japanese restaurant left in St. Louis. 95% of the Japanese restaurants in St. Louis are now owned by Korean or Thai, and Nobu is one of the few left in St. Louis that really tastes like real Japanese food. You might have to wait, but it's worth waiting.

A good sushi experience. The chefs choice sashimi was our favorite. I'm sure it will be even better once normal dine in resumes. Until then might want to make reservations or get carry-out.
