I ordered a mimosa (a mix of orange juice and cranberry) for just $4.99, and it was the most generous serving I've ever received! The pork spareribs had a fantastic smoky flavor, though they were a bit fatty—some people might appreciate that. The mashed potatoes with gravy were excellent as well. I’m giving Nwood -b-que a 5-star rating after just discovering them on my recent visit, even though they’ve been around for a while. The service was outstanding, and the restaurant was very clean. They recently relocated, which is how I came across them. I tried the pulled pork platter and purchased some of their seasonings. Everything, including the sauce and food, is homemade, except the mac and cheese. They also offer honey, which I didn’t try but suspect is delicious. Whether you’re just passing through or a local, I highly recommend stopping by. The greens are meat-free but still quite tasty.

The restaurant’s location is perfect, and their breakfast selection is wonderful. They even have beehives out back where you can watch the bees hard at work producing fresh, delicious honey! I couldn’t resist buying a bottle to take home, and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I’ve started collecting locally sourced honey, and I’m sure my partner will love discovering the unique flavors influenced by the different places the bees visit!

They recently relocated to a spot that’s much more convenient for me, making my visit easier. I tried the pulled pork plate and really enjoyed the seasoning. This restaurant is fantastic! The brisket melt was incredibly juicy and delicious, and the potato salad was delightful. I’m definitely coming back to try the ribs, other dishes, and desserts. It’s a really cool spot. The waitstaff is friendly and pleasant; Marie went above and beyond to help us. The staff is great, and the place is clean. I also love the beehives in the back, and they have a wonderful selection of items for sale inside, including sauces, honey, and more.
Absolutely fantastic! The service was outstanding, the recommendations were spot on, and I can’t even begin to describe how delicious the homemade BBQ sauce was. The combination of homemade country cooking and smokehouse flavors was superb. I highly recommend Barnwood BBQ to anyone visiting Mt. Dora, and be sure to take a bottle of sauce home with you!
Although we don’t eat out frequently, Barnwood is always our go-to choice when we do. We enjoy both their breakfast and lunch menus. The baby back ribs are incredible, and we’ve also had wonderful experiences with their low-carb dishes. The staff is very friendly and committed to excellent service. We’re huge fans!
