Had been craving Japanese food for the longest time and my visit to Ogenki definitely satisfied it. The salmon nigiri was light and fresh, served with wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. Loved the filling in the pork gyozas but would've liked a little more crispiness on the skin. Twice pork belly was scrumptious and saucy. Would definitely return!<br/ <br/ If you’d like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

had believed to eat Japanese for the longest time and my visit to ogenki definitely satisfied. the salmon nigiri was light and fresh, served with washabi and picked ginger on the side. the filling in the pork gyozas loved, but would have wanted a little more herb on the skin. twice as bad was spicy and saucy. would definitely return if you want to read more about my reviews, please visit my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on instagram for more photos!
I used to be here regularly and returned recently. my experiences from past were great, but this time the service was terrible. the eating of my partner came at once, it was one after he finished his meal when I asked how my order went and the waitress said they had not begun. because of the escape first. we just waited for my meal. we left the restaurant hungry and went to chargrill charlie’s on the road. Do not believe we are back.
We got hungry on the way back from the zoo and decided an impromptu stop by Mosman. Most of the place were closed so we found ourselves wondering around the street. We stumbled upon this cosy restaurant by accident. Was surprised by the taste and quality of the food. Salmon salad was fresh, Beef tataki was amazing, seafood gyoza Book a table now
I love this place. It’s central and the food is always fresh and delicious will post pics next time. Small and cosy restaurant and you may need to book Can’t nail my favourite dish but do love the salmon lovers bento box twice cooked pork and the cooked salmon or maybe the large sashimi bowl just to name a few.....
Had an excellent meal consisting of California rolls, a Teriyaki Salmon Don and a lemon, lime and bitters, all delicious! Edit: Went back months later and enjoyed another serving of california rolls plus a cooked tuna and avocado hand roll!
Food was great, but what is outstanding is the customer service; truly an embodiment of the servant heartedness, respect and genuinity carried out toward the customers that embodies the Japanese spirit.
Quality and humble selection of food, definitely recommend for a good Japanese eat. Love the small restaurant vibes like in Japan. The staff were friendly and had good covid practices. Plum wine Book a table now

"Great atmosphere and food. Feels like a family restaurant which is rare so close to the city and in an area that's full of places that are probably "trendier""
