Easter Sunday needed to involve a great meal so as we were heading home we noticed and saw Ol’ Skool Flava were open and decided to give them a try.Small Ma and Pa establishment located about 5 minutes from Stone Mountain park sitting diagonally across in a strip center from the German Pretzel place. First of all…. Those WINGS!!!!!! Wheewww. Baby we had wings, fries, fried okra, and cheese sticks. Everything was FRESH and everything was CRUNCHY just the way I like it and asked for it to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a chef, I’m always looking to eat other places instead of having to cook, it is safe to say that when I don’t feel like cooking I WILL BE HERE!!!!! Those wingggggsss bruh and that okra. Omg!!!!! This was my first time dining here, and I was definitely impressed! I ordered the oxtail plate without rice (even though it comes with rice), and the oxtails were fantastic. The macaroni was delicious, and the collard greens were clearly fresh and not from a can. But the real surprise for me was the yams—oh my goodness, they were incredible! I also got lemon pepper wings for my 5-year-old daughter, and let me tell you, she put her tablet down to enjoy them, so you know they are amazing!
This restaurant is truly exceptional in its commitment to customer service and cleanliness. I enjoyed a wonderful veggie plate during my visit. The gentleman who welcomed me and processed my order was incredibly kind and friendly, checking in on me during my meal. Since this was my first time here, I can confidently say it won’t be my last. Can we talk about how I had whole intentions on taking a picture of my food until I tasted it...hands down best 'soul food ' I 've had since moving here! I had the meatloaf Sunday Dinner and the proportions were on point! The fact that we (dining for two) only spent $27 was even better!! I most definitely recommend. It is comfort food for sure so be prepared to take a nap afterwards ?
I have eaten here like 3 to 4 times this past week! That's how tasty, hot, and fresh the food is. I had the mac n cheese and collard greens yesterday for a snack, lol! Had the lemon pepper wings n fries on Thursday, yum yum dim sum! Tried the chicken tenders too which were oh so delightful. Very, very pleasing to the palate.Parking: Lots of parking availability
This was my first time visiting this spot. Great/Friendly service, was not mad at the wait time for cooked fresh to order food. ERRYTHING was good! I had the Phill and wings, fries-seasoned nicely, didn’t need to add NOTHING, wings cooked crispy like I like and the Philly was GOODT. I went based off of reviews and I am glad I did. I will be back!

Great customer service and the wings combo were very good. Ideal place for take-out not so much for sit down restaurant. This was my first visit and I thought the prices were reasonable.
