The staff, all of whom were Japanese women, provided poor service and lacked the warm hospitality I had encountered during my travels in Japan. So heres my story..walked into to this place wit my family and waited like at least 10 minutes idk why because there was only 2 families sittin inside...wen they asked us for how many we answered and started walkin towards the tables..when a chinese manwalks out from the kitchen and starts yellin at the waitress in their language...and it was all because my daughter had a iceefrom another restaurant and told us we couldnt be in there if we had that food in there..wow! Ordered tempura, 3 rolls, tantan men, udon 1. Took forever for food to come out. So i thought everything was coming out at the same time but no. Tantanmen and udon and 1 roll came out then other 2 rolls didnt even come whem we finished eating those..lolll so yeah i guess under staff issue. 2. When we try to just pay at the front because we were just tired of waiting... thewaitress just told us to wait in the table. Its like what? We cant even pay and leave. My boyfriend and I like to come here every weekend since it?s just a short walk from our apartment. We enjoy the food and experience EVERY time. Fish is fresh and you can?t beat the sake. The spicy tuna crackers are to die for ???? Best date nightever! Love the authenticity rather than sushi that is ?americanized? and smothered in spicy mayo. Love this place!
