We arrived for a casual dinner, drinks order was taken fairly prompt but we waited around another 20 minutes for our food order to be taken. We were told by the waitress they had run out of Nachos, which i was amazed any mexican restaurant could do so (and wondered why they hadn't popped to the supermarket next door?! But they instead offered to do loaded fries instead of nachos. They also had ran out of the smoke aubergine taco so we found something else to order. Our sides came out first. Every single one of them was smothered in Coriander. I don't mind coriander as a garnish but we had to scrape off heaps off of each and every dish because it was unbearable and made everything taste the s...
We recently checked out overdraft for the first time, as it is conveniently located and always seemed appealing. While their craft beers are a bit expensive and heavily focused on IPAs, the Mexican-inspired cuisine was delicious and perfectly complemented the drinks. The menu was well-planned with good portion sizes, and the staff were friendly and well-informed. We hope to visit again soon, assuming pandemic restrictions allow.
Lovely environment and staff! Been a few times since opening and always greeted with a smile. The vibe of the place is refreshing (and looks great in pics lol). Food is absolutely delicious (TRY THE NACHOS) with lots of vegan veggie options too. Bonus they have a dj on friday playing absolute bangerz
This restaurant was great until they opened a new branch in Bedford and limited the menu. The staff, especially in Shirley, became cold after the new branch opened. It's not very family-friendly. The DJ sessions are good but the music selection is eclectic.

Having worked in LA I see myself as a bit of an expert in Mexican food. This place serves The Best Nachos and their ciders and beers are superb. I was both impressed and highly surprised to find a venue of this quality in Shirley High St (the Mutant Mile)
This bar on Shirley High Street is absolutely fantastic. They have a great variety of craft beers, delicious food, and great music. I can't recommend this place enough!
Expensive wine so forget it unless you don’t mind being ripped off. Can’t believe you’d charge £7.70 for a large glass of Merlot.
beer is lovely, munch is peng (especially the mac and cheese), staff are unreal and there’s a great barbers next door
