We arrived about 10am on a Saturday and had a lovely brunch here. It was peaceful, sunny and the atmosphere sitting out in the front area was really nice.My boyfriend had a baked eggs kind of dish with chorizo. I don't eat eggs, and the waitress was helpful in helping me pick something and suggested I create my own meal from their side options, which I did. Portions were generous and food was fresh and tasty. Prices reasonable. Nice place to come for a morning coffee and brunch.
Visited South Melbourne Market last weekend and called into Paco Lola for lunch. We ordered off the menu albeit there were specials available. The service was prompt and although we ate inside there was plenty of room up the back. The alfresco was very busy and crowded. Burritos we ordered were excellent and large so need to order any tacos or nachos. Great price and we were all done in a little over 35 minutes. Good service, good food & good value
We were visiting Sth Melbourne markets and stumbled into Paco y Lola by chance. We stopped for drinks and a few snacks.The pulled pork and beef dishes were delicious.Margaritas were good (and it was happy hour). Also tried a couple of Mexican Craft beers. A blonde and a pale ale. Went well with the food and atmosphere.If you ever visit sth melb markets this place is a must. We will be back next trip to Melbourne for sure!
The food at Paco y Lola was amazing, with a variety of tacos and tortillas available. You definitely want to eat more. I also had a few margaritas, which went down very well. You can sit outside, if the weather is nice, and it makes for a very relaxing and pleasant dining experience. Table service is available but we had to keep going up to the bar for service as the wait staff weren't around when you needed them. Book a table now
South Melbourne market is always packed and we were lucky to get a seat straight away.We dropped in after some grocery shopping.Staff were really friendly and service was great. we ordered the burrito and Tacos which were surprisingly good and not that expensive considering the competition around. Coffee tasted pretty good as well. Will definitely come again.
We had seen this restaurant on a previous visit to South Melbourne markets and decided to try it out for dinner. Relatively small menu but very adequate. Music was a bit loud for our liking but the staff turned it down when requested. Quick and professional service. Would definitely eat here again.
We ate lunch there on Sunday, we found the staff friendly and the food was pretty good. Table service was a bit slow but in saying that , it was lunch time. Most meals came out together but 2 others arrived as the rest had finished theirs . Still great food and atmosphere
Had fish tacos, soft shell crab tacos and chipotle chicken ribs to share. All great. Very fresh, vibrant flavours and perfect size to share for a family lunch. Service friendly and quick. Definitely recommended. Book a table now
Miserable day outside, stopped here for a late brekkie. I had the smashed avocado, beautiful fresh food, friendly staff in a warm cosy environment. Will come again
