I had a completely different experience today at Panera Bread. I frequently visit many of their locations and have a beverage subscription. Today, I went to the Panera in Havertown to get some iced coffee. I requested liquid cane sugar to have 5 pumps, but the employee—who was dressed in a suit—rudely told me that it was too much and refused to accommodate my request. This was the first time I’ve encountered such behavior at a Panera, where I typically visit almost every day, and it was truly disappointing. I won’t be returning to that branch again, as the employees at other locations are much more polite.
This once busy thriving place has become yesterday's news. The prices are steep, it's like fast food that you are called up to get from your seat. Too many dishes with chicken. U need more gluten free items, switch up your menu more. The coffee is just not good and your iced teas are pretty bland. Any vegetarian items? Why do you love chicken in like every salad? I'm growing tired of you like a bad ex boyfriend. Come on, Panera. Time for a fresh menu and new ideas.
This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant. For starters, it's not what I would expect from a restaurant experience. You have to order your food, pick it up yourself, find your own seating, and clear your own table, yet they still ask for a tip. Additionally, the staff in the kitchen were very unprofessional; I really don’t want to see someone’s belly ring—or any part of their stomach—while they’re preparing my food. I definitely won’t be returning.
Absolutely love this location. I typically order pickup and it’s usually accurate to what I ordered. I’ve only had one occasion where an item was missing. And when I went back to pick it up the store the manager was so kind and even offered me an item from the bakery. I told him there was no need but he insisted. Not many businesses do that anymore and I thought it was an extremely kind gesture. Everyone seems very kind and friendly as well.

Terrible experience and food was disgusting and inadequate. I Called store and they were rude and very unhelpful and unprofessional. I further learned Panera sold this store as a franchise. Save yourself some money and grief, go somewhere else. Been to this store numerous times in the past and now understand why the quality, quantity and service is at an all time low.
Rude, unprofessional staff. Was picking up an order that wasnt ready and asked perfectly pleasantly and politely how long the wait would be... an older lady snapped at me, refused to give me any sort of info and told me to just wait. Which I would have had no problem doing if I knew approximately how long. Wont be back. As a driver, or a customer.
This is a fantastic spot for baked goods. You simply have to try their cinnamon crunch bagels; they are absolutely delicious paired with a cup of coffee. If you're a soup lover, don't miss out on their cream of chicken wild rice soup, which you can enjoy with a baguette or in a bread bowl.
The cafe was bustling at lunch time. The cashier got the orders right and was friendly! Food was delish, mac and cheese with broccoli and my friend ordered the broccoli and cheddar soup. The kitchen staff was great! Orders were up pronto! I will be back!

Love their soup but rapid pick up should mean rapid pick up. The mobile orders do not get put on the rapid pick up shelf so you have to wait in line still. The bags are behind the counter ready makes no sense I will never come back to this store.
