Terrible experience! I placed an order but when I needed to correct a mistake just 2 minutes after ordering, the restaurant didn't answer the phone for an hour, despite trying 3 different phones! When they finally answered, they said they couldn't make any changes because the food was already prepared. I ended up losing £42. If they had just answered the phone, this could have all been prevented. The other branches were no help, and even the headquarters were closed at 1:00pm! I couldn't even get a partial refund, and the phone was abruptly disconnected on me. Overall, a truly awful experience.
Ordered online it was interesting to see to the stages the pizza goes through and was also interesting to see my pizza spent about 45 mins in the checking and cutting stage. This shop is a few minutes up the road from me and my pizza was cold and looked like it was from yesterday and left on the side. It was cold, chewy and not what i would expect for £30 but if this is how you do things then carry on but i'm not coming back here
So had a delivery last night. 2 pizzas, 2 sides and a dessert. It was cold when it was delivered, the base was legit paper thin, hard and chewy however the stuffed crust was undercooked. Won't be ordering again and it certainly hasn't agreed with my belly the following day. Only ordered because I got a menu posted thought I would give it a try, says cinnamon scrolls however these are actually very thin crunchy sticks.
Papa John's in Braintree is my top choice for pizza. The pizzas are priced slightly higher than Pizza Hut, but I find them to be worth the extra cost because I enjoy them more. If you're not taking advantage of their deals, going in-store is a good idea because you can watch how they make the pizza. However, the store can feel quite empty at times, suggesting that delivery is likely busier than in-store orders.

Had a young lad on the phone and he was absolutely useless. Had no intention to help me and sounded as though he just wanted the pay. When I finally got the order through it came delivered with the wrong toppings and when I called up about it the same young lad said to me “**** of you old ****”
Have ordered many times from Papa Johns and my son really enjoys their pizzas. However, the last couple of pizzas have been cold on delivery. I have had to re-heat in the microwave! I won’t be ordering again…
Ordered 2 large pizzas on the offer atm. We were so hungry and cold having just driven over 5 hours home. Pizza arrived. Extremely dry, chewy and very little toppings on them. So disappointed
Pizza ordered online and was delivered after over an hour with 3 follow up phone calls. Pizza was delivered cold and dough wasn't cooked enough. Very poor service and quality.

Once you delivered cold pizza but now twice in 6 weeks. Not good enough. Even waited over an hour for delivery. Get more staff and drivers who can do their jobs properly
Children really enjoy the chicken poppers and pizza at this restaurant. The dough is freshly made, and you can watch the process in person at the store.
