Very nice staff. Typical bar atmosphere nothing overly out of the norm there. The food was decent but a bit on the pricier end of things for what you get. 2 adults and 3 kids ended up being over $100 when all was accounted for. The homemade style cabbage rolls tasted great but the burger had little flavor and was dry. Would come back potentially but would try getting something more unique than the run of the mill items. We will go with a 4 overall.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The chicken parmesan sandwich had thick Italian bread and lacked sauce and cheese, making the chicken rubbery. I have been a frequent customer in the past, so hopefully this was just a one-time occurrence.
Papous is one of our favorite places! Great variety of food with large servings. The service is always great, and the atmosphere is fun and sports themed. We especially love the calamari appetizer, smash burger and cheesecake!
