Paradiso Café Bar Sydney. This café is situated in the open square of the MLC Centre in Martin Place and is just the right place for a lunch and a glass of wine if like us you have been shopping in the malls in the morning. The square is well frequented by the office workers and the tables and chairs in the sun under umbrellas is a great setting. We were encouraged to come in and sit down by a waiter after we were looking at the menu board. We orderd a glass of wine that appeared in less than 3 minutes which we saw as a good sign. We both had the Linguini with prawns that was absolutely delicious and would recommend. The prawns were very fresh and tasty. Good service, great food, lovely wine...
This was the second time we've eaten here and the food is really good. Both times here for lunch and have tried the Lamb Kofta and the Squid and Prawns. Both well presented, fresh an tasty. There are lots more interesting offerings on the menu too.The first time we went we had a young English waiter who couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately this time we had an older guy, who seemed to be in charge, who was rude, bossy and just not nice to be around. He was that bad that we will need to consider whether we want to return which is a shame as the food and pricing is great for a central city location.
I had a lunch in this cafe / restaurant situated in Martin place. The food is good and aswell the service but the worth point it was how the owners treat the staff so so bad. I saw specially a woman ( owner) screamed at all the staff using bad words and treat them like if they were animals. They use a bell for call the staff like if they were slave and they approached with them very bad. People be away from this place...They have to learn that they really don't do hospitality but just a business job using staff(kitchen/floor) very very bad.
I went to this cafe by chance and had a lovely lunch and coffee. After discussion, I ordered the kofta as recommended and it was excellent - freshly cooked, beautifully seasoned and accompanied by lightly toasted garlic and rosemary pita and hummus. Followed by an excellent galaktoboureko and coffee, I will definitely be returning.

Fabulous attentive staff from all corners of the globe. Good range of choices for meals. Unfortunately desserts very restrictive to biscuits and slices. Excellent coffee. Loved the option of sitting outside to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Convenient location in the centre of town, lifts available for wheelchairs
I try the Poached Chicken Salad and its really good, i love it and the hot chocolate was perfect but when i paid, the chashier said FU*K in front of me coz he made mistake with my bill Overall???? i love the food
Its great location as a people watching spot, the friendly and efficient service and excellent food make this one of my favourite lunch spots in the CBD. Try the salt and pepper squid, you won't be disappointed.
A popular spot in open air area of the MLC Centre. Much much quieter than the food court below. Service is always fast and friendly.

Came here by chance on the way to a show. I had duck ragout and my wife had salmon. Both beautiful and all well prices.
Good place for business catchups especially breakfast. Service is quick food good and coffee excellent.
