Imitate & cosy - a perfect place for that special date or imitate catch up with friends, a place that makes you feel so welcomed & relaxed. Share plates are on the menu (I must admit I am now over the tapas share style menus - I just want to eat a decent portion of food! ????). I was more than happy to skip the share style & go straight for the main meals but being with a foodie, we ordered a range of tapas plates as well as main & dessert. Highlights for me in the tapas range was the market fish, which was salmon, served with salmon belly & Tasmanian avocado. Wow, so creamy & melt in your mouth. The true highlights for me was the main market fish, which was blue e...

Pleasantly surprised by the Quality of Food, which was disappointed here here to be disappointed most of the visit to Hobart. Grief Have dinnered here and decided to have a selection of little ones, and not the classic 3-course menu with the very pleasant and helpful waiter. Grief The Wagyu Tartare was well prepared, had the traditional creamy texture from the egg yolk, but the addition of the pepper skis gave him this additional dimension. Grief The highlight of the meal was the saltling friter with anchovy emulsion and radicchio, which had rolled the intrigue of bitter, creamy, salty and fish taste into one. The smallest favorite was the chicken parfait, which was creamy and smooth, but...

Cool dining areas with view into the kitchen. Nice cozy seating area with fireplace in the indoor courtyard. Pleasant dinning experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend: Set menu $48  •Risotto, green peas, lightly smoked haddock, prawns, baby spinach •Rocket pinenut parmesan salad  •Mango semifreddo, lime curd, coconut meringue (lovely and refreshing)   Lovely fresh food and full of flavour. Both dishes were delicious!  The following dishes were also enjoyed: • Scallop pudding •Duck with Boudin Noir - very nice 19/1/17 Book a table now

had the set menu I think is standard. when the lady asked how our experience was at the end of the night, I and my friend were speechless and we didn't know how to put our happiness in words. that was amazing and the waitress gave us a thorough explanation of what we wanted to eat. always if I recommend this place to a friend or try to explain the experience that I begin to salivate. this is a must when they are in high quality and was one of the most important highlights of our trip to tassie.

We spent a lovely afternoon down at Peacock and Jones recently. We've found the Federal Group stable of restaurants to be hit and miss in the past, but in P&J they have a winner! The ambiance is very laid back, with the choice to have your meal either indoors or, as we did, in the atrium out the... forkandfoot.com

This restaurant can not complain about. Food was excellent. The beverage list is just as impressive. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and unpretentious. Every place serving a waitress in Blunnia gets a check mark in my book! Book a table now
