I had been so excited for so long to try this place and left super disappointed and underwhelmed. The service was really bad. Although they were full, it’s so small in there you would think it wouldn’t be difficult for our server to at least check in on us. Apologize for wait time, refill drinks. My purple haze martini that tasted like Concord grape juice sat there empty for probably 15+ minutes. Our server walked by us 5 times without acknowledging it. Make sure to book a reservation! This charming little restaurant is incredibly popular. The cocktails are exceptionally well-crafted and truly outstanding. They offer seasonal tasting flights that are visually stunning. We kicked things off with a meatball appetizer and a Cajun shrimp cocktail, both of which were absolutely delicious. Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed our entrees: chicken riggies, mushroom ravioli with carbonara sauce, scallops Florentine, and ahi tuna. Unfortunately, the tuna was overcooked, which was disappointing, but the wasabi sauce it came with was delicious. For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse dome, which was light and the perfect finishing touch to our meal....
Terrible customer service. A friend and I decided to go out for dinner and drinks, but our experience was far from enjoyable. There was no host at the entrance, yet many tables were available with menus on them, so we seated ourselves. After 10 minutes, someone finally approached us to ask if we had a reservation. We didn’t, but she said we could stay until the next reservation arrived. Unfortunately, no one came to take our order. A few minutes later, a waitress politely asked us to move to the bar. By then, we were already frustrated with being overlooked while employees focused more on their own conversations than on serving customers. So, we opted to leave instead.
This restaurant was much smaller than I anticipated. We had made a reservation for six people and were seated right away. The creative cocktails were definitely the highlight; I ordered a cosmic brownie martini and a creamsicle martini, and we also sampled the 5-star lagoon. For our food, we enjoyed the wing flight, which was fantastic, and I chose the asiago chicken. The chicken was amazing, although I found the pasta to be rather bland. The decor and ambiance are trendy and adorable, so we will certainly return.

However, when I arrived just after 8:30 p.m., I was met at the door by the same waitress I’d spoken to earlier. To my shock, she informed me that there were no available seats, and they were fully booked for the night. She suggested I should have called earlier for a reservation. I can't understand why this important information wasn’t communicated during our phone conversation.
As a professional chef, I am deeply disappointed with the service I received and will not be returning to the Peacock Bar anytime soon.
