I visited for the first time to pick up a bottle of wine as a gift, and I was impressed. The owner was at the register and was incredibly warm and friendly. I requested assistance in finding a locally made, sweet Door County wine, and he was very accommodating. He enthusiastically shared his recommendations and we enjoyed a delightful conversation, which made my visit even more enjoyable. I will definitely return, as there was a fantastic selection of unique items available for sale.
During a recent bus trip, I stopped by this restaurant when all the nearby places were full. We chose to get sandwiches from the deli at the back, and I tried the New Yorker. It was amazing! The homemade pickles really enhanced the sandwich’s flavor. The deli staff member was also great; his humor and positive demeanor made a gloomy, rainy day much brighter.
