First visit and was greatly warmly by a couple whom I believe are the owner / operators. Super friendly. I asked for a sandwich as close to real Philly as possible and they knew exactly what to do. Steak, fried onions, provolone cheese and hot cheez wiz. I ordered the Philthy size and it was larger than I expected in these days of high prices for small return, an incredible value. The sandwich tasted great and while it's been a couple of years since I was in Philadelphia, the sandwich tasted exactly right, even though I did ask for some green peppers to be added. This is my most recent favorite "food find". This place makes cheesesteak sandwiches and poutines as they should be made. Big and messy. I usually just get a standard filthy size cheesesteak as it totally fills me up there's no way I could eat much else on the side. They actually use real sliced steak which surprised me. It's very tasty.Don't forget to ask for cheese whiz as well. They have a huge sauce and cheese selection which is very nice. HP and Peppercorn ranch are my favorite. In this place you can get several sizes of sandwich or poutine. I ordered the "Philthy " size of both the steak sandwich and the steak poutine. To start the pricing is a little bit on the high side, but when you try the food you will taste why. The steak sandwich had lots of meat, onions and other toppings. The poutine was huge. The poutine comes in many different variations. The steak poutine had a lots of your choice of cheese and a very tasty brown grave on top of a chip style fries.The Philthy size was a good for at least two plus meals.Check it out.
I've been here 3 times now and have found the food amazingly flavourful and fresh. There are lots of topping options and that is fine for some but I find less is more with these sandwiches. The buns WOW...so soft and fresh they practically melt in your mouth and the poutine is the best I've had since I lived in Quebec.Love to feel I'm getting good value for my hard earned buck and I most certainly do at Philthy's. My daughter loves it as well...our new favourite Friday night, mom's not cooking spot! Thank you,

Ordered their orginal cheese steak sandwich for 8.99 and wasn't expecting much. But I was suprised at the quality if the sandwich. Plenty of meat and it was cooked just right! Portions were very generous and ingredients were fresh and included in the price. Best Philly cheese steak sandwich I ever had. U also get a choice of cheese and toppings ans sauce!
I found this place thru trip advisor and I had a great experience, start to finish. The 2 men working tonight were really nice and helped me build the best Philly cheese steak sandwich. The food is fresh and delicious and the guys were so friendly! I will definitely eat here again when back in town. Thank you!
Occasionally we'll eat at places like this where the food can be a little greasy, but plentiful and tasty. Not much ambiance, but hey - you're here to fill the hunger void. Cholesterol count on the rise!
The sandwich was O.K but I found the meat dry and the bun lacked flavour. I have eaten at other Philly steak places where the fries were better and there was more value for your dollar.

The pouting was cold and the pull pork sandwich was a soupy mess, this along with the factory bread and the premium prices they charge make this place really a Philthy mess
Great pountine, lots of gravy. My husband got the philthy cheese steak and said it was great. Very friendly staff. Small dining area.
