Had the most unwelcoming experience at Pinocchio's tonight. Came here to have dessert after a lovely meal with my daughter. Asked the waitress if we could have a table for coffee and dessert and was shocked to hear that they would only do it this time since it was not full house. It felt like a slap in the face that I should be wanting to give them business! To be honest the microwaved heated sticky date pudding and profiteroles were an absolutely waste of time. I have eaten here only dinners and the meals seem earthly with a genuine and natural taste. in particular the pastas felt. the seafood is fresh and seem to be cooked properly. Recently I had the sizzling king prawns as entree, and the garnels were deep with garlic flavor and the aroma was also deep and pleasant. the mush and oysters are also fresh. recently also the main thing of spaghetti bolognaise was good there is a subdued visual sense inside with a rather dark interior at the evenings and it makes good photos of the food difficult. when the place is busy, it gets pretty loud. service is good. the prices are slightly higher, but...read more
Excellent, delicious and fantastic I have been coming to Pinocchios for 5 years now and they have not changed a bit. The food is always delicious and great value. There are not too many places where you can get a plate filled with prawns at a reasonable price and great in quality The seafood dishes are my favourite, especially the Morton Bay Bugs, the sauce is a mouth watering taste explosion. A great combination of ginger, garlic and herbs. Yum The atmosphere is great and the staff are always friendly. They are very accomodating to my requests and always eager to please Thank you for always doing your best and I can't wait to come back
they are here several times and can be very hit or missed. sat here on Wednesday evening (before the Australia day). I wanted to sneak for escape. no snuggle. we wanted to share the food, the mix of pastness and pizza; only to say that there were no pizzas on the menu. how does an Italian restaurant run out of pizzateig?! set for s marinara as a plate that had surprisingly muscheln. the service was sloppy, three times asked for water and at the end three times the bill. we understand that the place was busy and the workers were under the pump, but come ready for a sydney long weeks and the fact that the spot is always busy.

have been living in randwick for years and finally being here for dinner. saying that I was disappointed is an understatement. order a pizza from an Italian restaurant, expect a kind of taste and style. a terrible excuse for a pizza came out. the basic was a packed frozen. the meat and the beats were like eating plastic candy..heated pommes also made a look that again very disappointing I can certainly say I will not go back to this place. the server that took up the 3 quarter pizza when we were finished, 0 interest in our dissatisfaction and simply eating and never returned. an assessment of 1 is an over-interest.
I went there last night on a recommendation from a friend. I'm glad I did because the food was amazing! Saganaki Prawns with garlic and Scallops with bacon were so tasty. And great value. The waitress offered us free plain bread to dip in the sauce and I'm glad she did. I had the King Prawns for main, which was massive and so tasty! My partner had the Eye Fillet and was equally impressed. We couldn't really fit dessert in but we were given some complementary watermelon upon asking for the bill. It was a nice touch. Very good value. We will definitely be making this our new local.
we had recently a terrible experience in this restaurant. we had a 10 month baby on our table and we had ordering on 6.50pm with our main course served at 8.20pm that eating was average and overpriced, although the size of the portion was good. the high point of the evening was the attitude of the manager no excuse and an rude answer of good, what would you like me? my first and last visit in this restaurant.
We used to come here every fortnight, unfortunately the standard may be slipping. It was a good 45mins between courses, waiters were not very present and fumbled through their service at best. The food was no saving grace either, pasta was tasteless, dry and the seafood was not fresh. Disappointing.

Lovely Italian restaurant in the midst of The Spot restaurant precinct. Service was fantastic. This is a family run restaurant and everything is made from scratch. Pizza and Pasta both excellent... And the meals are huge!! Highly recommended.
