Such a lovely moody atmosphere, with the dark walls and dim lights making it a nice escape from the busy Surry Hills surrounds. Have been here for dates and with groups; no matter the occasion Pizza Birra never disappoints.

I came here for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago and ordered the salsiccia e porcini pizza. It was nice but just lacking a bit of salt I felt. I had the tiramisu for dessert. If you're not a coffee fan, I wouldn't recommend because it has a very strong coffee flavour but I did enjoy it. I'd recommend booking as it does get quite packed.
Authentic Italy! If you're looking for an authentic Italian eatery, this is definitely your joint! I had the pizza with sausage and mushroom and my partner had the lasagna. Both highly recommended!
