Hugely disappointing experience. This restaurant used to be a charming pub, but ever since COVID hit, it has declined in quality. Came here with family and friends for a meal, but ended up waiting over 2 hours for our food. The table next to us, who arrived hours after we did, received their food first. Despite repeatedly requesting just chips for our 6 hungry kids, nothing was brought out. Attempted to calm the kids down in the play area, only to find it in disrepair with broken slides and missing swings. Ultimately decided to leave. It's a shame, as this restaurant was once a great spot for summer outings. For better service and quality food, head to the Nags Head instead.

what a day! can't fail!. all the hard work, dedication and care for our high time before of cara and the team, making it the most fabulous setting and day for us and all guests. beautifully decorated and so unique place for all. all employees were amazing and the love for detail speaks volume in all photos. eating was great and everyone has everything complicated. great atmosphere day and evening, with sam and rich and personal attentive all day! perfect! so many guests said that it was the best time they would have ever been, so thank you all.

Used the Pollards function room for a post Christening reception. From start to finish the Pollards team were fantastic. They allowed us to pick buffet options that weren't technically on the menu, decorated the function room beautifully and bent-over backwards to help us on the...day (even rustling up an extra vegetarian meal and options for fussy 2-year-olds at the spur of the moment). Would recommend to anyone.

We went to Pollards over the weekend to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday with a party of 19. We were greeted with a warm, relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating. They made my mother feel extremely special. The restaurant was very clean and the food was outstanding. We can't wait to go back again soon! I highly recommend it. Book a table now

We recently hosted a delightful lunch for 51 members at Pollards and Samantha, the event manager, did a fantastic job overseeing the whole event. The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything ran smoothly without any issues.

Several of us called in for drinks and we were all treated well, the drinks were great, just what we needed after a walk. The staff all wore masks and made sure everyone was safe and well looked after. Highly recommend Pollards Inn.

Lovely setting so was so disappointed by the poor quality of the food. Even worse was the attitude of the chef/manager who was rude and aggressive. Totally clueless about hospitality.

Food ok but nothing special. Don't have the beef pie early in the week as they are using up left over roast. Why no chardonnay
