An age broken bus with RemoDerten sitting, picnic tables, dogs running everywhere, and a beautiful seating area on the inside - that was just the concept of an irrigation hole and threw it out of the window. One of the best burgers I've ever had, from the Tasmanian beef, and the mushroom tempura with diving were just a few of the heavenly things they had to offer. Plus, a wide selection of beers on the rooster, which washes down the delicious burger. Do I have to say more?
Great place of jurisdiction unlike nowhere else experienced, the lamb Kofte simply came as greasy balls delicious spiced meat with only a tiny Chatziki. No bread, not even a toothpickel or a napkin that you can eat. Certainly, a few small slices have not broken the budget from a French stick. Other food like crispy chickenburger came as expected, with a suitable amount of salad in the bread and just the right amount of chips.
I stumbled across this joint during a day of exploring. Ok, I had actually read about it somewhere and it sounded cool. It was cool. I arrived not long after opening so there was hardly anyone there. But people soon started showing up. I expect it's popular in the evenings as most of the tables in the bus were reserved for 5.30pm. Happy find in Hobart. If you want to get away from the tourist formula bars, this is the place.
A quaint venue with friendly service. They really need to sort out staff to patron ratios and open the second bar on weekends - irrespective of weather. When I was there, patrons were waiting in a queue that stretched out the door and down the steps. 25 minutes to get a glass of bubbles will take the sparkle out of any Friday night. Book a table now
The service is friendly and laid back, which is what you would expect from a hipster burger and beer joint. The beer and wine choice goes well with their burgers which are well priced and tasty. You can sit inside or out, both are good. We will go back.
The is a fantastic location to enjoy some excellent craft beers and wines, it has a very relaxed vibe, excellent service and great tunes. If you want to unwind this is the place to go (we didn't have a meal but the food looked nice)
In summary, Burgers were nice and cool, but we were waiting for a long time for two burgers, bar teamworks were not friendly, and there was no waiting staff inside. Good place to go a drink, but it's Hipster Central!
Best burgers & local beers in Hobart! Wonderful knowledgeable staff. Great vibe in an old pub. Super outdoor area,too. Preachers is just down from Salamanca Place. It's the best pub in Australia! Book a table now
Bieren amazing burgers and selection of crafts. One of the coolest beer gardens I have ever seen. Great atmosphere too. My favorite bar in Hobart could not recommend very enough.
