One of my favorite Korean pub-style eateries in Ellicott City! The street food selections and bites make it easy to have a gathering with friends and family and eat and drink. I highly recommend the fried chicken, cheese corn, and bossam there there’s also a great selection of rice balls and other dishes as well. We went on a weekday evening so there was no wait for our party of 4 to be seated and served, and the waiter was very nice to our whole party! I’ve been back a free times already and would be happy to come back again with more friends! I've been a regular at Rainpia since my high school and college days. Unfortunately, I've noticed that both the food quality and service have declined, while prices have definitely increased. I can't really fault them for that, though, as my visits were all before the pandemic. This was my first time back since COVID. One positive aspect of the restaurant is its convenient location off Frederick Road, making it one of the few easily accessible spots. It's disappointing to see them not living up to their former standards. Although I was let down, I appreciated that they were open later than most other places. As a recommendation, I would suggest skipping the corn cheese.
My husband and I are night owls and sometimes are looking for a late-night bite to eat. Many options in the area close early, especially on Sunday. We visited Rainpia late last night, and they did not disappoint!We usually get Korean fried chicken carry out from Rainpia, but decided to dine in! The staff was friendly, quick, and attentive. The food was SO good. Hot, fresh, and full of great flavors! We got the Bulgogi Riceballs, Tteokbokki Kimchi Stew. Portions are quite large and we had enough to eat there and take home!Can't wait to visit again!

Moderately full menu with traditional favorites. Never left here hungry.Good place to eat and hang out.We got spicy tteokbokki, seafood pancake, hand torn noodles, sweet and spicy boneless chicken, and spicy pork bulgogi. All excellent. The sweet and spicy chicken took a lot of the heat off, so be mindful if you preferred more heat, less sweet.
Great Korean food spot. It is opened late and their food is good. It can be kind of like a party spot! Lots of young people were here late on a week night and they have yummy drinks. The food was delicious too. The wait staff seemed nice and helped us with the menu. It has been here a long time and I hope it's here to stay.
Really delicious. This is almost Korean diner style food and it's GREAT. We had the fried and sweet and sour chicken, kimchi and bulgogi rice balls, spicy pork and vegetables and kimchi pancakes. Really tasty. Great place will visit again (traveling 45 mins to get there)
