My husband was hesitant about staying here this weekend, recalling that the last time he visited, the air conditioning wasn't functioning well and the room was uncomfortably warm. Given our special memories with this resort, especially since we had our wedding here, I thought it was just a one-time issue. However, we booked our stay, and despite the thermostat reading 61 degrees, the room is at least 80 degrees. It's disappointing because I would love to continue supporting this place, but if the rooms aren't comfortable—especially with the recent price hike from $99 to $130 a night—it's hard to justify coming back. A few days later, my father-in-law decided to extend his stay and called my wife, demanding that she put down a credit card for his reservation at 11:00 AM, even before he checked in. When my wife suggested that the resort could take his card upon his arrival, the staff said that was against their policy and hung up on her.
I would recommend looking for a different place.
