Haven't been here for three years and had fond memories of the meals here. When we ventured there this month in a group of four the waitress informed us that the menu had just changed . A couple of dishes we were going to choose she kindly advised us were very small sizes . In the end the meals we chose were restaurant prices but only very small sizes . Limited dessert options so we couldn't fill up on the sweets . Came home to have something else to eat to fill us . We aren't huge eaters either just normal appetites but felt that the prices were absurdly high for the size of the meals with the exception of the burger which does come with a generous serve of chips and a large bread roll . We walk passed this place and being a pub dint look like much, however the menu luered us in.Food was just amazing, wow. Sooo much selection of beers and drinks, was very impressed, specially with the craft beers. Service was quick and super friendly Would definitely recommend this place,Big serving, great food, great selection of beverage, Laura was very friendly and professional, food reasonably priced, live music, quick service. Came here with my cousin and his family. Had a great meal food excellent. Great bar. However we were there when it was quiz night Unless your going for the quiz then don't go on this night!!Talk about being made to feel unwelcome. We wasn't making any loud noise we was just chatting normally. My cousin actually let it be known how rude we had been treated.Any other night there would not had been a problem.
I am a trot for a good parmi. Go over and check the menu. Well, you had me at chicken Parmi. Ordered at the bar and find my old friend Kirin (cider) in the fridge. And also a choice. Grief

Had a starter and main meal here. food was top class and the service was excellent.Loved that the room we ate in is a " art galley ". Local artist can display their work for sale. Bar was just there and the live music was great....and not on top of us. There were people dancing.....nice.
Decent grub for the pub tariff. The duck spring rolls were super crispy with a delicious immersion sauce. The Wallaby was pretty tender, but lacked a bit of spice. The Parsnip Purée on the side was very creamy. Overall better than expected.
Perfect place for typical pub foods and drinks, although the Parmigianas serves here, were not as much as usual. Nonstressly quite delicious and the place has a outdoor seating area that is ideal for overcrowded interior.
Came highly recommended by our relatives and we wasn't disappointed. Ordered burgers but there was around 10 of us who ordered various different meals. I remember the fish was lovely. Plenty of beers and great atmosphere
