Restaurant Arte - Table reservation

An unexpected gem attached to a room hotel (RheinHotel ARTE). See my review of the hotel. Cuisine is modern European prepared to perfection. Reasonable portions, we ate twice here during a recent stay and included a large group of friends. Wine list features...local Ahr Valley wines, all reasonably priced and excellent. Restaurant has a main dining room and two separate terraces overlooking the Rhine River, a stone's throw away. Highly recommend this restaurant, whether you are staying at the hotel or not.

The quality of the food is close to fine dining, but with good size portions. The Sweet Potato Carpaccio is pretty amazing thinly sliced sweet potato with a citrus dressing garnished with mozzarella wrapped in Parma ham; the Fried Fish on Tagliatelle is also...worth trying, with different fish, but generous size fillets on a bed of pasta with vegetables.

the sun lounge has transparent panels that can be removed to provide an open front with beautiful weather or a pleasant temperature at the breakfast. the evening meal and the service were good, and the breakfast buffet until standard

For a small botique hotel its restaurant offers excellent service and beautifully presented quality food.The restaurant overlooks The Rhine.
