We arrived to Ribeauvillé quite late (after 2pm) and most restaurants were about to close. Being hungry we were happy there was an open place to have lunch. As good tourists we ordered Flammkuchen and Choucroute, both were disappointing, especially the cabbage that felt reheated and dropped on a plate, with mediocre sausages and bacon. We ordered bottle of pinot noir, and gosh it was the worst red we've tasted in a very long time. The service was ok, the place itself looked ok, although some thorough cleaning should follow, the sooner the better.

I have been in this restaurant already couple of years ago, the positive experience has been confirmed. The restaurant is located on the Main Street of the small old city of Ribeauville. That day was hot and the terrasse was full, therefore we had our lunch inside. Inside is pleasant, but too dark for my personal taste, therefore We took a table close to the window, it was good. We had some tarte flambé and salmon baked in the oven. Everything was good. Service reasonable fast and friendly. Prices are ok.

If you start at the bottom of the town force yourself all the way up to the end to this great restaurant. We sat outside in the garden. Rick had the meat pie starter and I had the tomatoe salad. Ricks pie was delicious. I then had the fleischnaka which is roll (like a swissroll) of a type of dump[ling/pasta and 3 different boiled meats - it might not sound great but it was wonderful. It was really peppery and I chose a pepper sauce and it was really good. Rick had the esalope viennoise and had food envy!

We had lunch, cordon bleu (2 slices of pork with cheese and ham inside) in a creamy mushroom sauce - I have never had cordon bleu in a sauce delicious salad and perfectly-done french fries. We sat at the back outside in the lovely courtyard, the service was good and friendly, the prices okay. The rest room was ckean, the inside of the restaurant attractive and pleasantly historical. I would definitely go there again! Book a table now

We didn´t check Tripadvisor ratings before we came here, otherwise we would probably not have visited. We had a nice stay. At first, staff was a little grumpy since we wanted to eat before 18:30 - the time usually all restaurants in the area start to serve food, but then we were served politely and the food was good, too.

STarted with tart flambe natural (good!). Husband and I steak friets (me the house with parsley butter and husband provencale with a tomatoe sauce), son the salmon (he enjoyed it) and daughter chicken cordon blue (also enjoyed.) We also came here because it was open at 6pm and we were hungry!

Please avoid this crappy restaurant. We ordered chicken and it served cold, and fries are burnt. The drinks were hot and the other stuff we ordered was bad, too. Also there is no english speaking person at the restaurant.
