The staff at Reyna's Cafe were quite unfriendly. Our waitress vanished midway through our meal, and another waitress admitted that my order was incorrect. My 4-year-old son was the only one who never received his food. On top of that, the checkout experience was very frustrating. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Additionally, the food was disappointing and seemed like leftovers from lunch. We will not be returning.
A hidden gem in Hungerford! The food and service were outstanding. I had the beef tips over rice special, accompanied by green beans and corn, and it was absolutely delicious. As a bonus, a large jar of tea was included with my meal! I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. They have a wonderful variety on the menu, which is hard to come by in the Wharton/East Bernard region of Texas.
They offer the finest fried fish in the region, and their side dishes are equally impressive. In fact, all of their food is outstanding and doesn't have that typical flavor of prepackaged Sysco products. I strongly recommend them for catering as well!
