My husband and I chose this place on our honeymoon on the basis of Reviews and he lived until his high rating. He ordered the special, homemade salmon Ravioli in salmon, dill, snap and cream sauce. I have ordered gluten-free penne with chicken, mustard seeds, pancetta, sun-dried tomato and chili sauce. But from us the plates had licked clean if we were not in a public place !! The service was fabulous, the owner came twice to wish us happy honeymoon and check us on us. The place was busy, but anyone who worked there looked happily, and a part of a well oiled machine of pasta perfection. The pizzas looked divine, we will save that next time. We will definitely be there again !!
Having been to da Angelos many times it still remains one of my favourite restaurants it is one of the only times I even eat all my vegetables moping up those delicious sauces .They also make hobarts best pizzas . Going to this restaurant is really a nights entertainment with ALL staff doing that extra mile . They under stand it's your night out , and that's rare these days . My favourite is the solappine fungi yum yum . Can not wait to dine there again , it pays to book well ahead as it's still a full house on Tuesday nights and that says something for Hobart in the winter .

Was very impressed with the quality of the meals.. The restaurant isn't overly fancy in its decor, but what it does have is fantastic food, good service and good value.Had the Luciano's special, one with Gluten Free pasta which was easily accommodated also to ensure it was cooked in fresh water.

Made the call through Hobartian friends who suggested this place for dinner. Rang and booked, 30 mins later table was ready and waiting and greeted with a smile.Good genuine Italian fare, it was as expected. Good choice on menu and a good selection of Tassie wines to choose
Amazing gnocchi, wonderful deserts and great customer service! One of the owners introduced themselves and tried to ensure that we enjoyed our meal! Best Italian we had! In any case worth a try! Child friendly !!!

I've been here often when visiting Hobart and I'm not surprised that it's aways crowded. Good Italian food at a good price. What more can you ask for?
The food here was amazing!! Possibly one of the best Italian restaurants for food we've been to. Staff were so friendly and very hardworking!
