The best. Our favorite is the gelati water ice up to three flavors, sandwiched between two layers of custard in a cup. We ordered a small and it was large enough to share between two adults. The Italian 'water ' ice is smooth and refreshing. We got green apple and mango, but I 've had cherry, blue raspberry in the past as well, and most of the flavors are delicious. You can ask for a sample of you 're unsure. The vanilla custard is creamy and spot on with the flavor. We 've never ventured from the gelati but saw other people order shakes (mixed ice and custard) which I 'll assume it to be similar to the gelati in flavor but mixed together. Gotta try it if you 've never been.
I visited the restaurant yesterday evening and ordered a blendini around 9 PM. When I received my cup, I noticed it was only filled to about 70%. I saw this immediately, but I honestly didn’t want to make a fuss. Since I had already paid, I didn’t want to risk being charged more. For $6, it was disappointing that they couldn’t provide the right portion size. I always look forward to visiting this Rita’s because I don’t live nearby, but now I feel let down. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

I heard that the water is contaminated here to make Ice,s Suffolk County water Authority tested the water, and there was high levels of lead. We were told avoid this place at all cost.!!?????

I don't care what others say about other popular spots that sell frozen treats; this is by far the best place ever! I just wish there were more locations.
