I began visiting China Royal when it first opened, and for a long time, every dish we tried was fantastic. We were regulars there. However, I've noticed a decline in the food quality recently. Even the crab Rangoon, which used to be tender and crispy, is now tough. I can't help but wonder if the family has handed over the restaurant to the younger generation, as we’ve noticed the absence of the older staff and only see the younger ones now. It's disappointing because we would prefer to have good Chinese food nearby instead of having to drive to O'Fallon or Troy.
Oh this was terrible!!! I think they changed owners employees were different. Our food was all yucky. No one liked their meal! Even the fried rice was disgusting! How does a chinese restaurant mess up fried rice?!?! Save hour money and head to Ofallon to a decent chinese place!
I stopped by for dinner and was greeted by a friendly hostess who took my order. About eight minutes later, I was on my way with my food, which was nicely packed. The meal was delicious and still hot after my 12-mile ride. I will definitely be back to try it again!
We order from here quite frequently. The food is consistently good, fresh, and served hot. However, the restaurant has the feel of a strip mall food court, so we never choose to eat in.

This place is my favorite. They say they have the dish I love and sell it, but I have to disagree—noodles like theirs just can't compare to my favorite pasta or spaghetti.
Love the Crab Rangoon!! The hot braised chicken, sweet sour chicken,egg rolls,orange chicken fried dumplings are very good!! Trying Chow Mein or Chop Suey next time!!w
Lo Mein is my favorite dish. They say they offer it, but I have to say, angel hair pasta or spaghetti noodles just don’t compare to authentic Lo Mein noodles.

Love their hot braised chickens! One of the best one I've had so far. I like their crab Rangoon too. Been their customers since 2006.
