This is an excellent place for a quick bite. It is not formal in any way. The lunch menu is actually more robust than the dinner menu—very few specials (1 to be exact). It is not competing with its mother ship, the Saddle River Inn, but if you are tired of the Saddle River Inn's pretentious attitude and the inability to get reservations in less than 30 days, this is the next best thing.
FANTASTIC. The Asian steak noodle bowl was wonderful. It was cooked absolutely perfectly. Which is quite an accomplishment, because it's a thin slice of skirt steak. Kudos to the staff in the kitchen! Noodles were perfect consistency. The Sesame tuna was outstanding. The bread pudding was awesome! Service was great, and the staff could not have been nicer.
One of my favorites for best food! Everyone I bring agrees. If only covid would give us all a break and allow for better and safe inside dining. Then this place would be the only place to go!
Food wqs delicious, however, the plates were very small. Menu is limited and they were out of my first choice. I prefer the Saddle River Inn which is slightly more expensive. Book a table now
Outdoor setting is very attractive. Prices are at the high end for the food being served. Helpful wait staff. Indoor seating area can be busy and a little noisy.
Had a delicious meal on the patio on a perfect summer night. Our waitress was very accommodating and we never felt rushed. A most pleasant dining experience.
Very good food but service was a little spotty-food took quite awhile to come out and they gave us a glass 1/4 full when we ordered a mocktail.
I highly recommend the pancakes and burgers at this restaurant. Both were delicious. The Caramel Cider was also outstanding. Book a table now
