Moonah is Moonah, it is not aware that he is a Foodies paradise. But I have the feeling that things will change very soon :)
My partner and I went to breakfast with the recommendation of his mother, and boy was a nice surprise!
When you go in, it looks like a well presented café. The service was a bit slower than was busy, but it was pleasant enough. I ordered the breakfast of the Middle East, while my partner had the breakfast burger. Grief
It was excellent! Everything was about a minute after our coffee, so it's hot and fresh. My partner who usually eats very little, pushed almost everything on his plate! Will definitely be there again when we are in Hobart!

I had heard good things about this place so decided to go with a friend and 5 month old baby in a pram for coffee and lunch.As soon as we entered the staff gave us a "look" but we decided to proceed. We struggled to get through with the pram and then we were told the pram was in the way, even though it was positioned as best as possible (without assistance from any staff). We ordered our coffees and sat feeling as though we were not welcome at all. We drank the coffees which were just average and left.We walked across the road and had lunch at Magnolia 73 where they were more than helpful and welcoming and serve much better coffee! Met family here for breakfast, acoustics are a bit tricky for quiet conversation but the breakfast menu has all the usual suspects and some with a twist. We had the omelette (pumpkin, spinach, pinenuts, pesto and haloumi). Also had the breakfast tacos, and poached eggs on sourdough. The juices are freshly squeezed, the coffee hot and quick. The lunch menu looked great, the prices were cheap! A good recommendation.
A fall back place to go for a quick catch up with friends during lunch break. The food came out relatively quickly, so I squeezed lunch & yak in 50 mins. I had warm lamb salad - it was tasty & filling both times I have been there. I yakked so much, I forgot to take a photo of my salad!

Today I visited Sault for lunch. I was greeted by a lovely young man that provided us with the best customer service I have ever experienced. I had the 12 Hour Braised Lamb and it was cooked perfectly, so tender and juicy! I also had a side of Haloumi Fries which were absolutely divine! Highly recommend.
This restaurant has changed management and doesnt seem to be the same standard. Meals are average but recommend for a quick catch up coffee with snack. Outside tables also. Easy location with big car park out the back of Woolworths. Maybe in time, meals will improve.
Decaffeinated latte, small, takeaway in my own keep cup (no discount for bringing my own cup). Cost $4.50. Coffee was not freshly ground and tasted quite bitter. Fast service and the barista was friendly. Would probably try a different café next time though.
Good food and drinks with limited choices having said that I am sure you can find something that would appeal. A criticism is the appalling acoustics making conversation difficult once the cafe is crowded with people raising voices to be heard.

A quick business lunch and I was wanting seafood. The calamari were fantastic, cooked to perfection. The coffee was great and the service was quick but personal. Top spot.
Great food at reasonable prices - quite a surprise given the location of this cafe. Would recommend.
