I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience I had at your Sterling location on the evening of August 7, 2024. As a loyal customer since 2011, I have always valued the quality of your food and service, which makes this incident all the more surprising and disheartening.
I arrived at the restaurant at 8:35 p.m., with 25 minutes left before closing time. Despite the restaurant being empty, I was received with an unwelcome attitude. When I asked if the restaurant was still open, a young woman, who I believe was Hispanic, informed me that it depended on what I wanted because they were "pretty much closed." I've been dining at Santini's since high school, and I usually stick with The New Yorker and curly fries. In my opinion, curly fries are the best type of fries, and I'm willing to defend that claim! Since I've only ever ordered The New Yorker, I can confidently recommend it to anyone who enjoys pastrami. On my recent visit, I decided to try something different and opted for The Godfather. Based on my experiences, I can say that nearly everything on their menu is delicious and made with care. The service here is excellent, and there's plenty of seating if you choose to dine in. We walked in and stood in line, where I ordered a medium pizza and a chicken Philly sub. After we placed our order, four other people behind us received their food before us—someone got a pizza and two bags, and another person received a sub. At that point, I started to get frustrated because my mom had ordered a sub before me and still hadn't received her meal. We paid separately, and my mom eventually went up to inquire about her order. Five minutes later, her food was finally ready. The service was incredibly poor, and no one even apologized for the wait. This will definitely be my last visit here.
I ordered a small Italian sub, asked for light, mayo, extra onions and oil and vinegar. Also, I asked for my bread to be toasted and it wasn't I get home to eat my sandwich and it is loaded with mayonnaise no onion hardly any oil and vinegar and the meat was cut so thin for the price that they charge I definitely won't be going back and when you can't have people that understand English to take the order.

Chili dog...very yummy and filling. Pizza looked underdone and could have probably used another minute or two in the oven but it was surprisingly good regardless. I am a huge fan of the taco salad and this was my first try of the chefs salad...delicious!!!! Great job and thank you! Missed my extra salad dressing but thats ok, no big deal. Love your resturant.
Food was tasty but surprisingly not as large as what you would get from a proper New York deli...but the prices were similar. I'm accustomed to large sandwiches, with a nice dill pickle, not the case here. I'll order again if I find myself in the area again but it won't be #1 on my list.
Wow this place has gone straight down the tubes. Their garden salad greens is limp iceberg lettuce and they gave me 1/2 a boiled egg on s salad that costs $10. My husband 's tuna sandwich was out on STALE WHEAT BREAD!!! I 'm mad and won 't give these people my money again. Shape up!!
I hate it when these franchises or chains or independent places open up a restaurant and they have the audacity call it New York style when they have no idea what a New York style deli or sandwiches like

That Ruben/ corned-beef picture is straight up false advertising. You get 2-3 slices of meat here. It's a joke, take that lie of a picture down and I'll remove this review.
consistently good sandwiches, smoked turkey is a favorite and you cant go wrong with curly fries!
