We were quite disappointed with this restaurant considering it had been recommended to us. I booked early in the day, but we were seated out the back which lacked atmosphere and was a bit cold. The front was much cosier and had a log fire. The food was average and lacked flavour. The garlic and chilli prawns seemed to have no chilli. All 5 dishes we chose came out at once which meant some became cold. My partner wanted dessert, but we didn’t see any wait staff once our first meals were delivered. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score, while the service and atmosphere also contributed positively to the night. Although finding parking was a bit tricky, there is free street parking available nearby.
