My family used to come here a lot when it was the old Seafood Palace. Have't been back since they changed the new ownership until yesterday. We decided to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival here. It's always the same vibes, big family gatherings or just have a casual sunday night dinner. You will see a lot kids at every table, so do expect a lot of loud noise and screaminng everywhere. They also have private rooms available but mininum spend is $800+. We have 8 people in our party and we ordered quite a few items on the menu. We ordered seafood, meat, vegetables and always gotta have soup on the side. Here are some of the signature dishes we ordered. House Special Fried Crabs 避風塘蟹 Whole Crisp...

The Salted Egg Steamed Pork Patty was intriguing. I’m accustomed to a much saltier version, which is usually balanced out with a lot of rice. This one has a more subdued flavor, which I personally found fine, though it might not satisfy those who prefer a stronger taste. However, they did add some sugar to the soy sauce, which unsettled my friend. I didn’t mind it, but as they say, everyone has different tastes. When we were asked if we wanted one or two bowls of rice, my friend remarked that they used to serve us a large pan of rice. I had to remind her that many places now serve rice by the bowl. Keep in mind, it has been six years since our last visit. Everyone is adjusting to inflation...
The deco is clean and modern, The food and service is quite good for a Chinese restaurant. The shrimp is large and fresh, and the taste is very succulent. This is a good option for a large crowd and gathering. There are no condiments on the table, you would need to ask for salt, pepper, hot sauce, etc. Parking is somewhat limited, there is some street parking available. Many regular patrons park at the bank parking spot during non business hours and walk over. The waiter at this restaurant speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English as well. For their lunch special this restaurant charges $1.80 for a bowl of white rice. Many regular patrons would order fried rice instead as the portion is very ge...
On May 30, 2022, I had the pleasure of trying the garlic crab, which was absolutely delicious and generously served with roasted rice. The service was excellent; Su was incredibly friendly and made fantastic recommendations. The crab was priced at approximately $69, and the lobster was about $33 per pound. Unfortunately, they didn’t offer the fried pork that is available at their other location on Garvey Boulevard. They are open every day starting at 11:00 AM and also have a special lunch menu. This should be called Crab flavored fried rice and not crab fried rice. There is no crab to speak of. It is as if they stir fried crab flavoring to give the illusion and smell of crab with little to none actually in it. Moreover, the price was $19+ . I could have literally bought a can of crab meat and added the whole can to a plate of fried rice and it would have been more satisfying! On to the next one...
It has delicious food and it's authentic Chinese food. But you'll need to go with someone who can speak Chinese since that seems to be the language the servers speak. We went with a friend who is Korean/Chinese. She told us it is mainly for Chinese customers.Food: 5/5
Went there for a bday party, the place was empty which made it easier to get our scrumptious food. Thankfully my friends ordered and everything but the cow tonge was great. My favorite was the fried calamari.
The crab is absolutely top-notch and definitely the highlight of the menu. The other dishes are just average, and I wish their lunch hours were extended. Book a table now
The Cantonese cuisine here is delicious, and the portions are generous! It's a fantastic spot for a large family dinner.
