In recent visits to Poitiers I have tried multiple sidewalk cafes. Senza Nome, at 40 Bis Rue du moulin a vent, is my top choice thus far. My favorite guilty pleasure is champagne plus French fries (pommes frites). I am picky about both. I am therefore delighted to recommend Senza Nome, for anyone who visits Poitiers and shares that taste, or indeed just wants a lovely sidewalk café. It’s out of the sun, which is nice on hot days. It’s a block away around the corner from a busy square, but that little remove means there is only intermittent rather than constant foot traffic. The main person who has served me is Michael. We decide for our first night to take a take to this establishment which is literally on the other side of the street. reception, on the phone and in the restaurant, is friendly and warm. I'm taking cannelloni spinnard-ricotta. good points: the dough is good, the mixture is soft and pleasant. bad point: it's a little too peppery to my taste. My mother's meatballs are a little dry, but overall it's good. As for my father's bocco bone, it's also a little dry. but offered because there was no meat around the bone. very appreciable and appreciated gesture. The shared tiramisu is very good! Not alcoholic, not too sweet. grosso modo is correct, we ate well.
despite our family disorganization (dv in the hairdresser with children each has their turns) we were beautifully received! a warm welcome, a great organization to welcome the stroller, and a hungry little boy! We were served immediately, with the little dish first. Finally a restaurant for families and who delights taste buds! consumption without moderation
We were so grateful to have found Senza Nome. It’s difficult to find restaurants open sometimes in Poitiers. Senza Nome did not disappoint us, we ordered two pasta dishes which were well spiced, delicious and freshly prepared. The service was excellent and friendly and nicely priced. Well done.
