The workers were friendly and their Matzo ball soup was delicious, it had the biggest matzo ball I have ever seen. The Turkey burger tasted verry juicy and delicious, I strongly recommend trying it. The food was very filling and at a good price, I loved the experience and I will definitely come again. Parking: There is free parking right outside the BBQ, it is easily accessible. Kid-friendliness: The workers were nice to kids and were really friendly in general.
The new owner is young and ready to turn this place around with some good and fresh ideas. Always nice to see a local owner put love and care into the business. I ordered their marinated skirt steak with grilled onions and the bread was super fresh. Highly recommend as I now know I can pick up their premade skirt steaks to make for Shabbat or one night during the week! Parking: Number of parking on main central street. I attended a private event at Shaevitz and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. Both the brisket and burgers were packed with flavor. Shaevitz is conveniently situated in downtown Highland Park, with ample parking available nearby. Supporting a conservative Kosher business is definitely a bonus. I will definitely be back!
Wow! Just thinking about the best beef brisket barbecue I've ever had makes my mouth water. The buns were perfect for sandwiches. I would skip the slaw next time. There's no parking available, so takeout might be the best option. Book a table now
