Why we visited Sampan Bromley? We have been looking for a restaurant to have Sunday Buffet lunch at reasonable price and with many items to taste. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance, but the buffet was just okay. It didn't have all the dishes it advertised and the portions were kept very low, making it difficult to take more than one piece of meat at a time. The starters were lacking, with hard and crispy rice that was tough on our teeth. We asked for more lamb at 4 o'clock and were told there was none left, even though there was still an hour left of buffet service. We felt rushed to finish our meal as we were the last customers, and overall, I wish I had chosen a different spot for my birthday lunch. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. I must say its my favourite restaurant. You are always welcomed and remembered. Its comfortable and have a lovely atmosphere. The staff are extraordinary they are knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive ad friendly. My meal was just gorgeous, presented with style and looked and smelled amazing. I cleared the plate. I never usually have a desert but here I always do..its a great restaurant and I'm yet to find another that comes close.
There were 7 of us celebrating a birthday and we were given a table for 2 pushed close to a circular table which made conversation difficult and the 2 people felt disconnected from the main table. We waited a long time for our food almost an hour and the drinks menu was inaccurate. The food was generally good but the man breads could have been better.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. I have been coming here for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. It is far superior to any other Indian restaurant we have tried.
As always, the food was excellent and the team were friendly and welcoming. We were a table of 10 and we were all looked after from start to finish
Really lovely meal, scallops to start were lovely! Food was well presented and great size portions.
Not a great of choice for vegans but we managed and it's lovely as always.
