We had booked a table online at the cafe taj but when we arrived they denied getting our booking and were very unhelpful. So we walked a few doors down to The Shapla and asked if they could accommodate our party of 7. They were amazing, they moved tables round to fit us in and I'm so glad they did. We had a fantastic meal with outstanding service. Couldn't fault it at all and it was really reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
By far the best curry house in Gravesend, could even push Kent (maybe not yet)..Khan and the boys are fantastic. Myself and Scott Lackford are regular customers and always looked after. Food fantastic and the chef is always open to make specific requests. If not tried...I strongly recommend.
Once again, this restaurant delivered the best dinner of the night. The personal service was fantastic, and they serve the best curry around. We have already made another reservation and won't be going to any other Indian restaurant.

The food was delivered exactly as requested, piping hot and even arrived a few minutes before expected. The flavors were delicious and I will certainly be ordering from this restaurant again.
