When we ordered, we had a bit of an issue with them not having pies in stock but Gerson was supremely helpful with offering us alternatives. We stopped in for breakfast to avoid the Friday morning traffic before our flight at SFO, which is only 8 minutes away. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with crispy hash browns, and it was delicious. My only critique is that the eggs didn't have that satisfying ooze when cut into. My sister had the gluten-free blueberry pancakes and was absolutely in heaven. The view was lovely too. Our waitress, Emily, was very pleasant, accommodating, and attentive to our needs, which earned her a generous tip. Thank you, Emily! First, the pies are delicious! We’ve tried half the varieties and they are all amazing! If you’re looking for a delicious homemade pie, this is the place to go!Second, the Manager Gerson is one of a kind! We had a small hiccup with an order we had placed and he told us he would make it up to us on our next visit. Not only did he remember us by name, he took amazing care of us, and has definitely cemented himself and Shari’s Pies as our go to in the area! We were hungry after a long drive, pulled in to try our luck. We felt like were were back in the 70's. Decor-wise. We ordered broiled beef with veggies and mash potatoes and a small fish and chips. The meat a little tough, the fish were close to crispy but not the french fries. The pies loooked good but we did not feel like eating anymore.

We sat for 20 min and our server just ignored us. We weren't even asked what we wanted to drink. She finally noticed us and said I will send someone to take your order and 15 min later we walked out. It was hard on our 3 year old grand daughter.
Chocolate Cream Supreme! Now try saying that ten times quickly. Take a seat in one of the booths by the windows, order a slice of pie, and savor the view! As for kid-friendliness, they provide crayons and coloring sheets for children.
I found hair in my food, which made me feel sick all day. They really need to be more careful about this.
