I enjoyed both in-room dinner and then breakfast from Sirocco at Holiday Inn Potts Point. The in-room dining I ordered was a Creamy Tomato and Basil Soup and a Green Garden Salad. The soup was a pleasant surprise - it arrived piping hot which is hard to achieve for room service and it was full of flavour. However, with the sour cream already mixed in I found it a little rich. The Green Garden Salad was certainly that - green. There were mixed leaves, cucumber, capsicum and avocado - all green, no other colour to be seen. The ingredients were all fresh though. My breakfast in the restaurant at the buffet was very nice. The range of foods is broad, with nice fresh fruit including berries...

People forget that you don’t have to be a hotel guest to enjoy 4-star luxury! The new upgrade to Holiday Inn Potts Point’s flagship bistro features historical prints on the walls from the National Archives, an open kitchen and on it’s rooftop, harbors beehives in which honey is extracted and used in their Panacotta What’s surprising are the substantial proportions of entrees, mains and share plates priced very competitively in comparison to other venues in the area making it the perfect destination for both the visiting traveller and nearby residents. Kids under 12 even dine for free with an adult paid main now that’s value The new menu is hearty, comforting and...read more
the holiday inn in kings cross is just a stone's throw away from the coca cola sign. it is a counter that replaces nightclubs with a flourishing restaurant scene. the holiday inn has comfortable rooms with all the necessary amenities and the location to book rooms with views of sydney's famous harbour landscape and city landscape, as well as the botanical gardens. it is a great place to explore sydney from. the hotel restaurant siricco offers visitors and locals alike. the recently upgraded Sirocco-Resraurant has a large open kitchen and a chic dining area that provides meals on the day. with the $25 buffet breakfast is a great opportunity, the honey on...read more
this is in the holiday inn potts point and its best selling point is the position near darlinghurst road with large glass walls, which it is as bar and for the coffee (which is quite good).) the breakfast concentrated on the buffet, which is probably above average for sydney, but, at $25 or so, it is really for the type of tourist that put their faces every morning. they now have some cheaper a la carte and takeaway options that are better for light breakfast, although the environment is one of the sydneys caffe hotspots, so there are many good alternatives. I had some of their lunch and dinner meals like lasagne and fish they are not bad, but. read more Book a table now
the new Sirocco route tried yesterday evening. the restaurant/bar im holiday inn potts point has a new garden area outdoors, which means a new place for hangings in this suburb of fun. I call it a bar garden, but this outdoor garden space is quite versatile: drinks with friends, alfresco brunch, dinner under the stars or simply simple potts point people watch oh and they can build their own burgers – all from double meat to a salad beer.
I am thoroughly impressed by Sirocco Bar and Restaurant Potts Point, it greatly exceeded expectations as an in-house Hotel Restaurant that is also open to the public. I will definitely be back to build-my-own burger and to devour that panacotta again. I may also need to persuade the venue to sell me jars of their honey because it’s so awesome. Large but intimate restaurant located inside the ground level of the Holiday Inn Potts Point with a large dining space and spacious bar The clientele consists of visitors to the hotel or locals. The menu is priced reasonably and they do daily specials. The customer service is very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the Grilled Atlantic Salmon and the Marinated Fried Chicken.
