@BigDudesBigFoods finally made it to @sussexmeatpacking in #WhartonNJ after seeing that @belly_busters_deli_review made it there last week. Believe me. It was worth the wait. Everything looks delicious in this place. There is over 50 feet of deli case to peruse while your food is being prepared. I got the “The DJ Three” corned beef, pastrami swiss on three pieces of rye with Russian dressing and coleslaw. Fantastic! Joe got a stuffed sausage and pepper bread which he loved and I also got a beef and cheddar one to take home. #SMP #SussexMarket is a clean, organized, friendly place to stop and shop for all of your #carnivorous
The food here is fantastic, but my experience was marred by poor customer service from one particular staff member. The white lady who answered the phone had a noticeable attitude, and her demeanor in person was similarly off-putting. I hesitated to share this feedback since everyone else at the restaurant is wonderful, but unfortunately, her behavior has put a damper on my overall impression. Just to clarify, the phone call wasn’t the sole reason for my review, but it certainly contributed to my feelings.
We've found the meats here to be superior quality. The prices reflect that and it's worth every penny. We ordered the turkey, stuffing and smashed potatoes for our Thanksgiving dinner and as we've come to expect from SMP, it was outstanding. The pickup was easy, the cooking instructions were spot on and so simple. We throughly enjoyed it and hopefully they will do something similar for Christmas. Very satisfied customer!!
Been buying the BEST meats from SMP for years. Forget the supermarkets for meats and poultry. AND, lately, we've been getting their daily dinners and salads. Go ahead, for example get the SMP Slow Cooked Brisket and garlic mashed potatoes and cole slaw, and also some of their great salads and tell me that you would rather go to a restaurant and pay twice as much for less quality then add the alcohol bill and the tip!

This is my go to place for quality meat and great sandwiches. Everything here is top quality and better than your local grocery store. My favorite sandwich: Boars Head smoked turkey breast, three pepper Colby jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo on rye. Many fresh and frozen foods to choose from here at SMP. Go now, shop often.
Definitely not the same as Sussex Meat Packers in Sussex on Rt 23. First thing I noticed is it is more expensive. Second thing I noticed the ground beef taste nothing like the ground beef up north, and the Italian sausage was downright disgusting compared to the one Sussex do yourself a favor drive the extra miles it’s worth it
This is my son who happens to work in the deli section. He makes that place even more special. They have great food a bit pricey but everything is expensive now. Friendly staff and great products. Of course my son being my favorite person there.
Amazing place to get quality meat products. Can't wait to see how my pernil turns out. My pernil turned out absolutely delicious. Great price and great piece of meat. Staff was fabulous on New Years Eve too.
