We might have visited on a night when things weren't running smoothly, or they could have been understaffed and overwhelmed by the dinner rush. It also seemed there was a waiter in training. Regardless of the cause, the staff did their best but struggled to keep up with the demands of the evening. I will say, however, that towards the end, the more experienced waiter made sure we were well taken care of and were enjoying our time there. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant since I'm from the area, but unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The service was atrocious; our server seemed annoyed that we were even there. I considered leaving, but my family was hungry and I hoped the food would compensate for the poor service. Sadly, the food was just as disappointing—bland and overcooked. The drinks were okay, but our server never returned to check if we wanted another round. I definitely won't be coming back.
If you're someone who enjoys plain food, this is the spot for you. I ordered the chimichurri steak tacos, and they were quite underwhelming. The tacos just had steak and lettuce—no cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, or any other toppings to enhance the flavor. I didn’t even get a hint of chimichurri sauce. To top it off, the restaurant forgot to include the side of guacamole. There are definitely better options nearby to satisfy your cravings.
The food was enjoyable, but our server vanished and suddenly became the bartender without saying a word. She left us to fetch our own drinks and our check, and didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert. However, she was quick to offer to take our payment! Usually, I’m understanding when things go awry, but the lack of restaurant standards and basic courtesy from this server was disappointing.

I visited a friend in town and decided to try this restaurant based on previous reviews, but I have to say they were misleading. The service was terrible. The Birria Tacos did not taste like birria at all. The tortilla soup was more like chicken soup with chips on top. To top it off, the waiter had an attitude; every time I asked for something, I was met with a snarky response.
Amazing! Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, giving us plenty of leftovers. The chimichanga was massive, packed with layers of tortillas, cheese, and lots of beef. The guacamole was just right, and the chips were irresistibly delicious. We’ll definitely be returning!
I dined at SOL for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. The mango mahi mahi was incredible, and the tamale was quite large—perfect for sharing as an appetizer.
This place just doesn't make good food. I feel bad because the servers seem nice but I would never come back until they fix the frozen food and watered down Sangrias. Friends had scary sea food and I had the chicken.

This is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The tamale was just sweet corn mush, and the enchiladas were a greasy, flavorless disaster. Even the rice and beans were disappointing.
Average experience. Nothing exceptional. The quality doesn't justify the prices. However, the portion sizes are generous.
