I do not recommend this restaurant. I was born in Korea, living in NOVA for 30years and But never experience this kind of service in my life. We had almost 20 people(family and guest) and waitress gave me pen and paper to write down the menu we want.Ok, I could understand that even I did not like it.but the worst part was we ordered galbi and the waitress refused to cook thebone part. I did not argue with her or the owner, because we had guests from far, did not want to waste time. But there are noother restaurant that would refuse to cook it, because it is part of the food(not the bones but meat around) and galbi is notcheap. Plus food is not good at all. Quality of meat is , no it was not...

I chose not to argue with her or the owner because we had guests who had traveled a long way and I didn’t want to cause a scene.
I had a good time here. I believe i just had my first sushigasm here hahaha (don't know if that's a word). my only one complaint is that the server was not very friendly. she just drop things off, pick things up without even looking at me. there was no feeling of warm at all. ok maybe i sound a bit needy here. anyway, onto the good stuff. i went here during lunch buffet time. the price is 15 including taxes. the buffet selections were a bit limited in my opinion
Sorak Garden used to be the top Korean restaurant in town, but times have definitely changed. On a Sunday night, the place wasn’t busy at all, yet they were severely understaffed, resulting in incredibly long wait times. We had finished our galbi but were still waiting for our naengmyun, which we had ordered at the same time. The owner even went to the kitchen to check on our order, only to return and question if we’d ordered certain items.

Galbi and mul-nang-myun combo is still the best. First time back since the covid lock down. Price went up slightly but their portions are the same or slightly more? If you do the combo, nangmyun is $7. Complementary gaeranjjim was very nice. Will be coming back soon.
I had an amazing experience at Sorak Garden, savoring authentic Korean BBQ with all the kimchi and side dishes that reminded me of my trip to South Korea! The cold noodle dishes were delicious as well. Absolutely delicious!
One word: "Terrible!!!" As a Korean, I'm embarrassed that such bland and overpriced food exists here in the US. Save your money and avoid the disappointment. It's best to steer clear of this place entirely.
This is our favorite Korean restaurant for consistently delicious food. The only downside is that they require you to order two of the same type of meat to use the grill.

We've been dining at Sorak for at least 20 years, and we have never had a bad experience. The food is always exceptional, and the service is truly outstanding.
The green onion pancakes and beef jerky are absolutely delicious!
